On major new twitter/x censorship

I just learned that twitter/x only takes new users via their mobile phone, or google or apple account

This is the same mistake telegram and similar services made which deprive people of access simply because they do not have a mobile device, and is a tool for censorship. Apparently musk and associates realize people are getting fed up with them and are acting out of fear.
