On this day 100 years ago Sarhang Ahmad Khan-e-Nakhichevan had two Breuget-19 fighter planes named Mazandaran and Gilan flown from France to Iran on the orders of Sipah Salar Reza Khan, then Vizier Defa

This was the beginning of Iran's Air Force which despite it's problems continues today.

Petrus Romanus - my connection to pope francis whacked
