On Queen Margrethe II of Danmark abdicating

 Minutes ago the Danish Royal Court confirmed that Queen Margrethe II will abdicate on 14 January 2024 in favor of her son Frederik

This was elaborated on in her new year's address which can be seen below
I should point out that Margrethe II has had health problems, however no Danish monarch has abdicated, and while I welcome the Crown Prince as Frederik X I have concerns over this enthronement in Danmark.
