On the death of Dick Butkus

 Yesterday Dick Butkus, the greatest Defensive player in Football, died, as was announced by the NFL

He was an inspiration to me and millions by his real life toughness, especially in the face of religious freakjobs who took issue with his name, not realizing his proud Lithuanian heritage, and I even had his starting lineup figure. A loss of someone more people should strive to be like.
