On the death of the Iron Sheik

I was recently informed that Hossein Khosrow Ali Vaziri, best known by his wrestling name the Iron Sheik, has died at his home in Fayetteville, Georgia on June 7, which was confirmed by WWE, which he had wrestled for

He was born in Damghan Mazendaran on 9 September 1942 and served in Artesh, including as bodyguard to HIM Mohammed Reza Shah and where he learned to wrestle, before coming to america in 1968. He had a successful career as a wrestler and was WWF champion from 1983-4.
He was an inspiration to me and millions, and I regret we never did a Magus Khan tag team. Iran and the Iranian community has suffered a great loss.
